Multi Award-Winning Artisan Bakery operating from a small craft bakery in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire.We started life in our conservatory in a house in Gloucester where we were selling breads to friends and family, and have now outgrown this and occupy a unit in Stonehouse, Gloucestershire where we produce a range of real breads.We are registered with Stroud District Council and have a five-star h

ygiene rating.We produce bread for sale at markets, community shops and for wholesale. We sell to the public via four regular markets every week in Gloucester, Fairford, Stroud and Cirencester. We also attend markets in Nailsworth, and the North Cotswolds and will be seen at a number of food events throughout the year. We are able to supply bread to commercial clients as well as private individuals. We use only organic and, wherever possible, locally-sourced ingredients. All our flour is supplied by Shipton Mill in Tetbury and Frampton on Severn. The vast majority of our bread is REAL bread: that is to say it is comprised of flour, water, yeast and salt.

So, what's in a cheese stick?

We believe in putting cheese in a cheese stick. Lots of cheese, cheese in every bite: not a hunt the cheese experience. We think these are our best, and the best in the West, for sure.

These are available at farmers' market today as well as our upcoming markets at tomorrow and Stroud farmers' market on Saturday.

So, two days ago we said goodbye to our sturdy workhorse of the last 5 years or so our three deck Tom Chandley oven, which we'd outgrown.
Instead we welcomed our new Ferrari : Polin Stratos.
What a difference this baby will make. The test bake was impressive and great heat retention. Well worth the wait.

So, this weekend more than anything is about these critters, the hot cross bun. We've been working, no, toiling hard to make these pillows of joy all week and will continue until Saturday.

Each bun uses the finest ingredients and, we think, they're the ultimate hot cross bun.

We're at Cirencester Farmers' Market on Good Friday 9am until 2.30pm

We're also at Cirencester General Market on Saturday 9am until 5pm and at Stroud Farmers' Market on Saturday 9am until 2pm

You can also buy them at Eastington Farm Shop Friday and Saturday as well as Le Papillon deli in Painswick Friday and Saturday.

We have a vacancy for a driver and market operative.

We are looking for a well-presented, self-starting individual with a clean drivers' licence to deliver our products to our local customers and market stalls.

The role is a hybrid one as the successful candidate will be required to run the occasional market stall (3-4 per month)

Being a bakery the work involves early morning starts meaning early finishes too!

The successful candidate will:

Be punctual
Be able to work to deadlines
Be able to pick orders accurately and speedily
Be physically fit as the role does require some lifting
Have a good manner with the public
Be willing to learn about our products
Have a clean drivers' licence
Be familiar with using Google maps or other route finding applications

The role is 20 hours per week, largely involving morning starts at 5am. The day is normally finished by 9am.

£10 gross per hour
Pension scheme
Free loaf of bread per week plus staff discount on other items

So, we will be in Cirencester and Gloucester Farmer's market today. We're not at our usual spot in Gloucester and will, for today, be on the corner of Northgate Street.hv

In Gloucester we have our newest employee, Padraic, who will be happy to serve you with all manner of goodies and real bread and genuine sourdough. Padraic is bilingual in English and Irish and for today only we have a special offer that if you say "céad mile faílte" to him he'll knock off 50p from the asking price.
