Catie's Cakes A hobby baker making cakes for friends and family in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

I have always had a passion for baking, and was taught basic cake decorating techniques from my mum many years ago. But life got in the way and although I carried on baking cakes (and my legendary brownies) I didn't really decorate any cakes for almost 10 years. When a close friend asked if I would make her son's Christening cake I decided it was time to brush up on those skills and signed up for

a college course, and it reminded me how much I love decorating cakes. I put the pictures on my personal page and more people started asking me to make cakes for them. I have decided to start this page so I can keep all my cake pictures together, and so my cake pictures don't take over my non-cakey friend's new feeds!
