Kidsgrove Oatcakes

🇬🇧 **FROM KIDSGROVE TO SPAIN!** 🇪🇸

Well, this has absolutely made our day! ❤️

Just over a week ago, Steve and his wife popped into our little shop while visiting from Spain and picked up a bag of our dry oatcake mix.

Fast forward a week, and after making it through Manchester Airport customs, Steve has been busy making his very own Staffordshire oatcakes over in Spain!

And judging by his lovely message, they've turned out brilliantly! 👏

But our favourite part? He's now planning to introduce his Spanish-born grandchildren to a proper taste of Staffordshire. 🥹

There's something quite special about knowing that a little bit of what we make here in Kidsgrove is being enjoyed hundreds of miles away.

**From our little oatcake shop in Staffordshire to breakfast tables in Spain.** 🇬🇧❤️🇪🇸

Thank you, Steve, for sharing your story and photographs with us. It really does mean a lot.

Now we've just got to find out what the grandchildren think! 😂

Have our oatcakes travelled anywhere unusual with you? We'd love to hear where they've ended up! 🌍

For any international enquiries just drop us a DM, for any UK based orders, head over to www.oatcakedan.com for your oatcake fix!

🎉 Birthday Half-Day! 🎉

It’s my birthday today, so we’ll be closing a little earlier than usual so I can actually enjoy part of it 😂

Kidsgrove Oatcakes will be closing at 11AM today.

We’re open as normal this morning, so plenty of time to get your oatcakes in before we shut.

Thanks as always for your support - back to normal from tomorrow! ❤️

Massive congratulations to Kidsgrove Cricket Club on being promoted with a game left to play!

Brilliant achievement and thoroughly deserved. Proud to sponsor the club, well done to everyone involved! 💚

🏆 CHAMPIONS! 🎉🎉🎉

Our 1st XI have done it!

Following today’s result, the lads have secured promotion and, with one game still to play, are confirmed as DIVISION CHAMPIONS!

A fantastic achievement and just reward for the hard work, commitment and performances the team have put in throughout the season.

One more game to go, but the title is ours.

Massive congratulations to everyone involved with the 1st XI. Players, captain and all those who have supported the team along the way.

What a season! What a club! 💚

Morning guys. Unfortunately we will have to close today. We've got staff sickness so we won't be in to serve hot food.

There will be a limited amount of oatcakes available.

Our apologies

🇺🇸 KIDSGROVE OATCAKES… IN THE USA! 🇺🇸

Absolutely love getting messages like this.

We recently sent some of our Oatcake Dry Mix across to America, and this was the result 👇

They’d tried making their own oatcakes before, but said ours were easy to mix, easy to cook consistently and the best they’d tried ❤️

There’s something pretty surreal about seeing a proper Staffordshire oatcake being cooked thousands of miles away from Kidsgrove 😂

Our dry mix means you can make fresh Kidsgrove Oatcakes at home wherever you are and judging by these, they’ve absolutely nailed it!

🌎 From Kidsgrove to kitchens around the world.

We are going to have to close early today folks. Approaching 50c in the kitchen and it's just not safe at those temps for the staff.

🚧 WE’RE OPEN AS USUAL! 🚧

Just a quick reminder that despite all the work going on outside on King Street, Kidsgrove Oatcakes is still open as normal and serving up your favourites every day.

And if you fancy oatcakes later in the day, you can now get ours evening from Sizzlers Fast Food as part of their new oatcake menu 🙌 they have opened their new takeaway in Kidsgrove this week and look like they are smashing it!

I’ve personally tried the Chicken Tikka & Cheese oatcake and can confirm… it’s absolutely banging. Oatcake Dan is a fan.

So whether you’re popping in to see us or grabbing one from Sizzlers later on, there’s no excuse to go without an oatcake.

Thanks as always for supporting local ❤️
