Every now and then, something happens that makes us stop and smile.

Today we’re packing up another order of our Povey’s Instant Staffordshire Oatcake Mix, and this one is heading all the way to Germany.

It still amazes us that a traditional Staffordshire recipe, made here in Biddulph, is now being enjoyed hundreds of miles away. What started as a local favourite is helping introduce people around the world to one of Staffordshire’s best kept secrets.

To everyone who’s supported us, shared our posts, recommended us, or ordered our products thank you. You’re helping put Staffordshire oatcakes on the map, one parcel at a time.

We can’t wait to see them making their very first oatcakes in Germany. 🇩🇪🥞
