50th birthday cake I did last week. Bottom was chocolate with salted caramel buttercream and top tier was red velvet with vanilla. Chocolate cupcakes and lemon cupcakes to match.

Something a bit different baked today. A doggy birthday cake. This one is banana and blueberry and the frosting is potato, cream cheese and peanut butter. All human grade ingredients used and tailored for pooches delicate tummies.

I was so proud to make this wedding cake for my good friends clare and John Salmon. My first nearly naked cake. The top tier is lemon and the bottom is strawberry milkshake with freeze dried raspberries. Then decorated with an abundance of fresh fruit. Now I'm going to relax and enjoy celebrating this lovely couples wedding evening 💒

By far the tallest cake I've decorated,
assembled and delivered. Lots of scary moments but it arrived at the wedding venue in one piece. The bride was over the moon so all good in my cake world 👰. Filled and covered in lemon drizzle and raspberry and white chocolate buttercream and instead of jam I used freeze dried raspberries to fill. Thank you to my good friend Julie Jackson for the loan of her kitchen and all of her help in pulling this one off. And for keeping me calm and fed watered throughout the day. Icing sugars from my favourite cake suppliers, Sugar and Crumbs. I'm now taking orders for cakes from June onwards 🎂
