Just a little reminder for anyone ordering Father's Day treats, birthday cakes, celebration bakes or cupcakes from any business online or on Social Media 💕
This isn't aimed at any particular business and it definitely isn't an advert for mine. People should always order from whoever they feel most comfortable with, who they vibe with and who can create their perfect bake, ticking all the boxes
However, with AI becoming more common, it's worth remembering that not every photo you see online is necessarily a real example of that business's work. AI is brilliant for lots of things (I use it myself for posters, wording, admin and literally to run my life haha!), but when it comes to selling a physical product, I personally think it's important that customers can see genuine examples of what they're actually likely to receive.
Before placing an order, have a quick look through a business page and check for real customer photos, real examples of previous work, reviews and consistency between what is being advertised and what is actually being produced.
At the end of the day, people work very hard for their money, and deserve to know exactly what they're buying.
Just something worth bearing in mind with Father's Day and end of school coming up when there are lots of adverts doing the rounds 💕
