Geode, Crystal, Diamond Cake for anniversary.
I made the picture frame, which is double sided, thanks for the edible prints
There is a lot of different sugar crystals in the crevise, to add to the texture and depth of the geode. I lined the crevise with blue buttercream to give a different tone under the crystals.

Vegan fondant covered floral cake

Vegan Cake Alert! I don't make many vegan cakes, I don't proclaim to be an expert in vegan baking.
This is due to my reluctance in using many of the processed butters and products. Cakes are unhealthy enough with the sugar content, so I struggle to get on board with the palm oil or seed oil laden substitutes.

I have tried baking cakes with coconut oil, and not had consistency. But my friend put me onto this vegan butter at Sainsbury's that is at least palm oil free.
This is the result, buttercream held up, the cake structure held up. Relief!

I wish vegans had more choice in ingredients within these substitute foods. Especially for those who are trying to avoid seed oils.

Manchester City Birthday Cake

Always trying to find new ways to decorate within a specific theme. This time the client wanted the jerseys and football on top of the cake.
We incorporated the hexagon pattern down the sides of the fondant covered vanilla cake.
