I asked Chat GPT to create a cake especially for me and this is what it came up with…… I love it (who wouldn’t) ❤️❤️❤️

AI is a great tool for helping with cake designs and I use it all the time to help me bring customers ideas to life but we have to be realistic so I always explain that these images are extremely precise and very often cannot be recreated in fully edible form, not to mention the hours of work involved to make all those little models and flowers 🌷 🌼🪷. Time = £££££’s 😬

I’m closed for orders right now but recovery is going really well. Thank you so much for all your well wishes and for helping me keep my social media alive with all your interaction, it really is very much appreciated 🎂🍰🧁

Just a little update for you all, I’m on the mend and feeling better every day. I’m still on complete rest so not ready to take orders but hopefully it won’t be too long now as I’m desperate to get back to baking 🎂🧁🍰

This was the last cake I made before I became poorly. A young lady who loves nothing more than a cosy night in with her beloved companion and a good book 📚📘📕

I might not be making cakes at the moment but I’m still (trying) to be creative 🎨🖌️🫟

My lovely daughter thought that whilst I’m convalescing it would be a great idea for me to keep my creative talents alive so she got me a paint by numbers set to keep me busy. Could she not have found something more complicated to paint??

As you can see I’ve made a start but I’m struggling to imagine it’s ever going to look anything like the photo. Watch this space for the finished masterpiece 😜

I’m not taking orders at the moment as I’m recovering from a health issue.
I posted this cake a few months ago, it was made to celebrate my 60th and Charlie Chugs 16th birthdays.
But I’m going to let you into a secret……it’s not actually cake 😳
It was made from polystyrene dummies.
I wanted a fabulous centrepiece but didn’t want the time constraints of real sponge.
I wanted to challenge myself and be able to keep it forever.
I could make real sponge cakes for my guests the day before and have them sliced and ready to serve so I could enjoy the evening.
I think it’s genius, what do you think?

It was hubbys birthday at the weekend but believe it or not he doesn’t like cake 😳😳😳😳 WHAAAT- I hear you cry….

Anyone who knows him well will know that his 2 greatest passions in his life are Stockport County and CHEESE 🧀🧀🧀

So I usually try to make him something incorporating both so he can blow out a candle.
This years is fairly lame but it tasted really good 😊

To celebrate my 60th, I created this bespoke two-tier cake featuring handmade sugar models of myself and my beloved little dog Charlie who will be 16 at the weekend. Soft pinks, wafer paper florals, rose gold sparkle and lots of love made this the best cake I’ve ever made. Sometimes the cake maker deserves a cake too! 💖🐾
