It’s very easy to walk past us on Henderson st. We do infact have a sign if you look really closely and the sun’s facing the right way. Unfortunately the photo of the dunk was deemed to explicit for our Instagram. You will have to imagine.

One of our staples for a good while. The Honey Nut Bun; Honey, Almond and Walnut frangipane, Burnt honey creme patissiere, Oat and nut crumble
Topped with a burnt honey glaze and flaky salt.

It is indeed as good as it sounds.

A BUSY WEEK coming to a close! Thank you to everyone who popped in this week!

Our new blueberry tart with lemon mascarpone crème pat, we use our croissant dough as the tart case for a super flaky buttery crust. It’s a three biter but I recon most folks get it down in two!

A few new bread specials this week. The multigrain porridge which blends oat, barley, rye and wheat. Into the porridge loaf to end all porridge loaves. One poj to rule them all.

And the luxurious pecan and date sourdough with a sprinkling of einkorn throughout, excited for this one.

BEER MICHE! Although lacking the size of a traditional miche.. it packs much of the same characteristics; a subtle tang and brilliant lasting qualities, a suitable mini miche. A blend of Guinness, Rye, Spelt and wholewheat, totalling 55% wholegrains. I’d eaten half of mine before dinner.

🌱Spinach Pesto & Inverloch Goats Cheese Savoury’s this week keep your eyes peeled for those!!

Happy Sunday!!!

Our beans are sourced from our pals at Unorthodox Roasters .. Wee stoater is our workhorse espresso but we also stock a range of unorthodox coffees to buy as whole beans! There all too good! Try them all ☕️

Are fridges and freezers are glad that’s over!! A roaster of a week in the bakery! But heatwave sucessfully navigated bar a few dehydrated staff members and some rather soft butter.

Bringing back the 100% WM Tin, mainly because I really love tin loaves! Super versatile, perfect for sarnies and there easy to fit in your rucksack. They also allow us to pack more wholemeal goodness and moisture into the dough than would be possible without the support of the tin! A little malt and dark barley malt flour for some added sweet caramelly flavours!
