Week 1 Spotlight 💡

Let's take a deep dive into the Sticky Toffee Cake. The cake recipe has been in the family for about 100 years, first made by my Great, Great Aunt Hilda. An absolute favourite across multiple generations! I've recently put my own twist onto it, by adding on a malted sticky toffee buttercream (which is incredible), and to top it off, I've swirled through some luscious caramel too.

These Milk Chocolate & Pretzel Cookies ventured all the way over to The Netherlands last month. They went down an absolute treat with the girls from Bedford Ladies Tug of War, whilst at an international competition.

One day they might turn up in the cake shed, you never know... 👀

Who else is also missing all the Easter chocolate?!

I've been rather quiet for the last week on here, due to a very last minute holiday. But I'm now back home and will soon be back in the kitchen planning my summer bakes. Keep an eye out!
