As we move into the warmer months, here are a few important reminders to help keep your cake looking and tasting its best:

• If possible, please collect your cake with the air conditioning on. Even a few minutes in a warm car can affect the finish and structure of the cake.

• Cakes should be stored in a cool environment. For buttercream cakes, I recommend keeping them refrigerated until approximately one hour before serving to allow them to come to room temperature for the best flavour and texture.

• When removing a cake from the fridge, you may notice some condensation forming — this is completely normal and will settle on its own.

• Please keep cakes out of direct sunlight and avoid displaying them near windows or in warm areas, as heat can quickly soften them!

Thank you for taking extra care during the warmer weather — it really helps keep your cake in perfect condition for your celebration 💖
