If you don’t see me at the shop, I’m probably at my desk fighting for my life with admin work 🫣

Running a business is so much more than just baking cakes and packing orders…

It’s posting on socials (basically a full-time job these days 😭), updating the website, answering messages, discussing orders, chasing suppliers, editing videos, sorting invoices, planning content, ordering stock, replying to emails and somehow trying to remember to breathe in between 😅

So if you don’t see me baking… I promise I’m still working💻

90 years of memories, love, family, laughter… and I got to make the cake for it 🎂🥹

Being part of someone’s big milestone will never feel normal to me.
Whether it’s a 1st birthday, 30th, 50th or 90th… it always feels so special knowing one of my cakes gets to be part of such an important moment 🤍

These are the orders that remind me this job is about so much more than just cake. ✨

Sometimes I wonder how many birthdays I’ve secretly been part of just because of a cake 🎂🥹

And honestly… that feels really special to me.

Every cake I make matters to me in some way. I spend hours decorating it, stressing over tiny details, and leaving a little piece of myself in it before it becomes part of someone else’s memories 🤍

One cake might just be dessert to some people… but to me it’s someone’s surprise, someone’s celebration, someone’s moment. ✨

People see a cake… but don’t always see the hours behind it. 🎂

The graphics, printing, cutting, sticking everything onto fondant, decorating… sometimes it takes almost as long as baking the cake itself.

It’s also why I don’t make fondant figures — even simple ones can take hours.

I used to avoid charging properly for decorations because I never wanted customers to feel overcharged… but handmade work takes real time.🤍

So when you ask about a cake price, are you paying for “just cake”… or for someone’s time, skill, and creativity too? 👀

Like, Medovik already hits different, but add a berry on top and suddenly it’s even better 🫠✨

There’s something about honey layers + cream + fresh berries that just makes sense 😭🍓
