Beauty & the Beast 🌹

BEAST is right too !!! - I really don’t think the photo shows the actual size , this one here is the biggest cake I’ve done in my 3 years of baking, so far! - using 24 blocks of butter and 30bars of chocolate 🤣 the total weight in cake was 28kg !!!

😁 defo needed to call the husband to carry this one up the stairs in the venue 😂 The Old Regent Ballroom

Bottom tier is chocolate fudge and the top tier is vanilla 😋

The response has been wild!! 🥰

Not gonna lie, this time last week, I was stuck in a bit of a rut and for the first time, my motivation had been really down and I had even suggested to my husband that I just give it all up and just get a proper job again 😫

Thank god Stuart is so supportive and quickly gave my head a wobble.

Since then, there have been so many beautiful comments and feedback from you all across this past week, it has totally turned my doubt into remembering why I started this in the first place. I really do for the first time in my life LOVE the job i do.... but for some reason, the self-doubt is so hard to shake.

Plus, the thought of dealing with toxic managers again would NOT be high up on my Xmas list this year 😂

I've got my xmas songs blasting! Have got my head stuck into my laptop now - and hoping to have you all replied to by the time I have to do the school run at 3pm. ✌️

🎄🎅🎁 I have been working very hard to get my Xmas menu together over the past couple of days

The first people to see what there is to offer will be those that attend this event today 🤗

This isn't a school fete, this is lots of small local businesses coming together to show all their arts, crafts and amazing Christmas products.

Put the kids in bed, leave them with the other half (or bring them with you) and pop along to support the small local businesses of SLH, you'll find some amazing little bits to start off your Christmas shopping x

This lovely customer ordered this bowls cake for her dad's 70th birthday.
When her mum collected it yesterday, I showed her the photos and she wrapped her arms around me straight away....then told me they'd lost their dog last month 🥲🥲🥲
