Not all wedding cakes need tiers to make a statement 🤍

A beautiful sheet cake, made with three layers of red velvet cake and vanilla buttercream, measuring 16 x 10 inches. It was a heavy one!

Finished with delicate vintage-style piping, it was a lovely centrepiece for the wedding sweet table.

A little sneak peek from this week’s styled shoot at the beautiful Maidens Barn

The theme was festive Christmas inspiration, featuring a gorgeous palette of reds, burgundy, greens and gold.

I went for a vintage-inspired Lambeth cake with burgundy bows and matching cupcakes 🎀

Such a lovely day with a brilliant team of creatives, and I can’t wait to share more photos soon!

I love an autumn wedding! The colours are just so pretty to work with!

Here’s a beautiful cake and cupcake setup from the weekend. A vintage heart-shaped carrot and walnut cake, paired with floral cupcakes in carrot cake, salted caramel and vanilla.

I loved how it all came together on this beautiful rustic log stand by Simply Rustic , perfectly suited to the gorgeous Blake Hall Weddings venue.

A little hello from me.

For those who are new here, I’m Holly, the baker behind Daisy Chain Cupcakes. For those who have been following me for a while, thank you for being here and supporting my small business.

I’ve been creating cakes for 6 years now, from floral cupcakes to celebration and wedding cakes. Recently, I’ve been thinking about how I’d like to shape the business going forward, focusing more on the styles I love most and giving things a little refresh. I’m looking forward to sharing more soon!

This was such a dream wedding cake to make 🧡

It honestly brought together so many of my favourite things - pretty vintage piping, soft and delicate buttercream flowers and delicate palette-knife details. Accompanied with the sweetest vegan mini cupcakes finished with their own little floral designs.

A dreamy two-tier cake created to complement the most beautiful, floral-filled and whimsical wedding aesthetic, for a bride who loves flowers as much as I do!

I loved every little detail of this one and feel so lucky to have been chosen to create something so special for such a beautiful day!
