A little update from The Indie Pie Company 🥧

It’s with a heavy heart that we have made the decision to take a step back from The Indie Pie Company.
How long for, we don’t know.
It hasn’t been an easy decision, but we know it’s the right one for us, for now.

This Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be our final three events for the time being, so if you’d like one last fix of something Indie, you’ll find us here:

🥧 Friday 28th & Saturday 29th
The Big Feast with Potteries Artisan Market
10am–4pm both days

🥧 Sunday 30th
Cosford Airbase Open Day
10am–4pm

We’d like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has supported us along the way — our amazing customers, fellow stallholders, market and event organisers, and everyone who has stopped by, shared a post, recommended us or simply cheered us on.

We’ve met some truly wonderful people and made some fantastic memories along the way.

Although this isn’t the outcome we had hoped for, we’re incredibly grateful for all the love, support and encouragement we’ve received.

So, for now, its goodbye. 👋

However I will be helping on my Fiancé stall AJ’s Fishing Bait & Tackle 🎣🎣🎣

There is also lots of other stalls tomorrow too! ✨

I will be helping Alex at his stall at Rugeley Driven Mad tomorrow. Look at this limited addition reel he has for sale tomorrow, even if you don’t fish, the colours in this are very nice! 🩷

Please remember that I won’t be there with my cakes!

‼️‼️‼️Important Post - Please Read ‼️‼️‼️

Hi everyone,

I wanted to let you all know that, unfortunately, I’ve made the difficult decision to cancel my last three markets before my wedding. ❤️

I’ve had a bit of a hard time tonight and realised that I’ve been struggling to juggle working full-time, running my baking business and planning a wedding all at once. It’s all become a little overwhelming, and I think I need to take a step back and give myself some time to breathe.

I really don’t want to let any of you down, and I feel incredibly guilty about cancelling, but I’ve had to take a step back and think about what’s best for me. This should be such a happy and exciting time, and I don’t want the stress of trying to do everything to take away from that.

So, just to confirm, I won’t be attending:
🤍 Rugeley Car Show – Sunday
🤍 Uttoxeter Market – 22nd
🤍 Lark in the Park – 29th

I’m hoping to be back baking and attending markets around the end of September/beginning of October, after the wedding and honeymoon. 💍

If I feel I am on top of things, I will see if I feel up to maybe doing a delivery drop or something before the wedding but I can’t make any promises.

I will also join Alex at his next 2 events because being at the market isn’t actually the stressful part for me, it’s the 3 days and evenings baking in the kitchen which I’m struggling with and it takes a lot of my time.

I’m so incredibly grateful for every single one of you who supports my little baking business. I really hope you’ll understand my decision and, most importantly, that you’ll still be there waiting for me when I come back. 🥹❤️

Thank you for all your kindness, support and understanding. It genuinely means more to me than you know.

I will be at Rugeley Town Council event on Sunday. Their car show is looking to be amazing alongside us traders who will be there too! I will be next to AJ’s Fishing Bait & Tackle so make sure you pop down to see us. Also, my fellow trader Tim will be there too at The Indie Pie Company. 🥧🍰🎣
