We've been quiet on here recently... but we wanted to peek back out to share these with you. 🍓

Our fresh pavlovas are now available in the bakery, just in time to see out the Wimbledon season!

Light, crisp raspberry meringue, topped with fresh cream and finished with juicy glazed strawberries and blueberries. The perfect treat for a sunny afternoon. ☀️

Available for a limited time while strawberry season lasts. We'd love to know if you manage to try one!

We're a traditional, family-run bakery in Stafford, baking everything fresh on site each day – from bread and rolls to cakes and pastries.

This is a hands-on role in a working bakery environment. You'll be involved in the full process - mixing, baking, finishing, and helping to keep production running smoothly.

We're looking for someone who'll be a great fit for the team as much as someone with the right baking skills. We value a friendly, supportive working environment where everyone helps each other, and we're looking for someone who enjoys being part of that culture.

As our bakery continues to grow, we'd love to find someone who wants to grow with us – bringing ideas, developing their skills, and helping shape the future of the business.

We’re hiring a 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝘁-𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿 to join our small bakery team.

You’ll be delivering freshly baked goods to our customers and helping make sure everything arrives safely and on time.

𝗛𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀:
Thursday & Friday
7:00am – 11:00am

𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:
• Delivering bakery products to local customers
• Loading and unloading trays and boxes of baked goods
• Driving the bakery van safely and responsibly
• Representing the bakery in a friendly and professional manner
• Helping with small ad-hoc tasks in the bakery between deliveries

𝗪𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘄𝗵𝗼:
• Has a full UK driving licence and is comfortable driving a van
• Is punctual and dependable (early starts are essential)
• Handles customers’ orders with care
• Has a positive attitude and enjoys being part of a small team

Experience in delivery work is helpful but not essential.

Introducing the biscuits of the season 🐰🌸🩷

Bunnies, flowers, and even Mother’s Day specials are available on the counter now.

Delicate shortbread biscuits, fondant iced and sandwiched with an apricot jam centre.

A sweet little gift for mums, nans, or anyone who deserves a treat next Sunday. If you’d like to guarantee some for Mother’s Day, just get in touch to place a reservation and we’ll set them aside for you.

A proud moment for Parkside Bakery last week.

Dave and Laura celebrated 150 years of Stafford Rugby Club at an anniversary dinner catered by Michelin-star chef Tom Shepherd, of Upstairs by Tom Shepherd ⭐

Excitingly, this was a first for Parkside Bakery. We got to work with Michelin royalty, supplying the evening with our white, wholemeal and malted brown snack rolls, which were served alongside “Upstairs” cultured butter.

It was a proud moment seeing a Stafford bakery on the menu for such a special celebration for Stafford RUFC.

As a big fan of Great British Menu, and a general follower of celebrity chefs and foodie things, I’ve been incredibly jealous of the whole thing. I demanded Dave send me photos so I could live vicariously through them. So now I’m inviting you to do the same.

Chef Tom served a menu that included his Great British Menu 2023 banquet-winning main course, “Desperate Dan’s Cow Pie,” and his perfect-scoring dessert, “No Ordinary Schoolboy.”

It was incredible to see such a creative menu brought together for the evening.

Unfortunately the only descriptions I managed to get out of Dave were that the food was “alright,” “nice,” and “soft.”

So let’s all read the beautiful signed menu and use our imaginations, shall we? 😌

𝗛𝗼𝘁 𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗯𝘂𝗻 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱!

The scent of spice has been filling the bakery each morning, with trays of soft, glossy buns coming out warm and ready for the counter.

They’re available in the shop now.

If you’d like some set aside for a particular day, just let us know and we’ll make sure they’re waiting for you.
