Weโ€™re a traditional, family-run bakery in Stafford, baking everything fresh on site each day - from bread and rolls to cakes and pastries. This is a hands-on role in a working bakery environment. Youโ€™ll be involved in the full process - mixing, baking, finishing, and keeping things running smoothly as part of a small team.

Bunnies, flowers, and even Motherโ€™s Day specials are available on the counter now.

Delicate shortbread biscuits, fondant iced and sandwiched with an apricot jam centre.

A sweet little gift for mums, nans, or anyone who deserves a treat next Sunday. If youโ€™d like to guarantee some for Motherโ€™s Day, just get in touch to place a reservation and weโ€™ll set them aside for you.

A proud moment for Parkside Bakery last week.

Dave and Laura celebrated 150 years of Stafford Rugby Club at an anniversary dinner catered by Michelin-star chef Tom Shepherd, of Upstairs by Tom Shepherd โญ

Excitingly, this was a first for Parkside Bakery. We got to work with Michelin royalty, supplying the evening with our white, wholemeal and malted brown snack rolls, which were served alongside โ€œUpstairsโ€ cultured butter.

It was a proud moment seeing a Stafford bakery on the menu for such a special celebration for Stafford RUFC.

As a big fan of Great British Menu, and a general follower of celebrity chefs and foodie things, Iโ€™ve been incredibly jealous of the whole thing. I demanded Dave send me photos so I could live vicariously through them. So now Iโ€™m inviting you to do the same.

Chef Tom served a menu that included his Great British Menu 2023 banquet-winning main course, โ€œDesperate Danโ€™s Cow Pie,โ€ and his perfect-scoring dessert, โ€œNo Ordinary Schoolboy.โ€

It was incredible to see such a creative menu brought together for the evening.

Unfortunately the only descriptions I managed to get out of Dave were that the food was โ€œalright,โ€ โ€œnice,โ€ and โ€œsoft.โ€

So letโ€™s all read the beautiful signed menu and use our imaginations, shall we? ๐Ÿ˜Œ

Was anyone else here celebrating at the event?

Our baking momentum carries us into the unveiling of our tin loaves.

Fresh from the ovens, theyโ€™re stacked while hot and cleared quickly so the next phase can begin.

Once cooled, these loaves head either to our shop shelves or straight into the delivery van, ready for local customers and businesses.
