Cakes & Cupcakes for Special Occasions Southwell Cakery design, bake and decorate cakes and cupcakes for special occasions.

All of our cakes are as individual as our clients. I have a background in fashion and feel this influences my designs, my signature cakes could be described as 'Classic, with a twist'. However early (or late) your enquiry, just call or email me for an informal chat, I never bore of cake discussions! My individual cakes are individually priced, but not as much as you may think, and I can also work from your budget if you prefer.

Delighted to help R+M celebrate at their Doddington Hall Weddings wedding last week 🕊️
They chose one of seminaked three tier cakes in a competition of Red Velvet, Chocolate Mud, and Vanilla Victoria
Decorated with a cascade of our Raspberry Cream macarons, and a customer supplied topper.

Congratulations to S+P 🕊️
We helped them celebrate earlier this month at their Kelham House Country Manor wedding 🤍
They chose one of our three tier textured buttercream cakes in a combination of Black Forest, Lemon, and Vanilla Victoria flavours 👌
We used green ombré colour, decorated with fresh floral deco by Flower Barn 💐 and finished with a customer supplied topper.

Decorated with fresh flowers and a customer supplied topper as a finishing touch 🤍
The marquee looked beautiful and I spied one of my favourite things at a wedding-a basket of pegs 🤏

We helped a special Birthday Girl celebrate a milestone with this cake ✨
Ordered by her daughter, we made this Neapolitan seminaked cake (I’m sorry I can’t show you the inside 😍) decorated with some of our cookie pops and cookies, beautiful flowers from Minster flowers and a touch of gold leaf 👌
