With a field of Lucerne in bloom near to the hives the bees are making the most of it.
There will be honey for sale from the farm gate this afternoon produced by my mentor and local beekeeper Keith Lomax. An outstanding knowledgeable beekeeper. Many of his hives overlap our farm producing beautiful flavoured honey. I have his calm hardworking strain of bees in my apiary and they are a credit to his knowledge in breeding 🍯
