I don’t normally make birthday cakes, but last weekend was an exception. Shelley was celebrating her (ahem) 60th birthday (she doesn’t look 60 by the way!)
Her idea was to replicate her favourite wallpaper on her cake. What a fab idea, so I jumped on board and this was the result 😃 so cool..
2 tiers of lemon drizzle (with some Limoncello added to the drizzle) white chocolate ganache undercoat, lemon curd and buttercream filling - yum 😋
Happy birthday again Shelley and thank you so much for trusting me with your very special cake xx

Huge congratulations on your fabulous wedding yesterday at Prittlewell Priory! Then at for their reception.

I set up a cupcake tower with a buttercream cutting cake and 60 cupcakes.

Yummy flavours of White Chocolate sponge with raspberry jam and vanilla buttercream for the cutting cake, Strawberry & Champagne and Black Forest cupcakes 😋

3-tier sugar pearl adorned wedding cake finished off with a cute lace bow.

Yummy flavours of White Chocolate and Raspberry, a Vanilla (coloured blue) and Red Velvet layer cake (homage to the mighty West Ham United!) and Lemon and Elderflower 😋

Thank you to all my amazing couples who put their trust in me by booking me to make their wedding cake in 2025. I honestly can’t thank you enough.

Here is just a little snapshot of 2025 at Sticky Fingers Cake Co HQ

The number of weddings was slightly down on 2024 but then we were still in catch up mode from covid last year so not surprised.

I have never made so many cupcakes though!!

And the most popular flavour was a surprise 😆

The most popular venue however, definitely wasn’t 😂 ❤️

Wishing all my followers, fellow gorgeous suppliers and fab friends a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and here’s to a brilliant 2026!
