My name is Vicki and I have baked for many years but discovered a love of decorating after having my little boy. Having done numerous cakes over the years and receving some lovely feedback, I decided to launch Victoria Plum Cakery! I look forward to creating a cake for whatever occasion you wish, you can always find a reason for cake!!

Sorry I’ve been quiet, trying to get the house extension started!

One of my recent cakes.

A lovely colleague for retiring after 30 years service, I only had a few hours to pull this one together!

This was a 4 layered lemon cake with lemon butter cream, lemon curd and Nutella chocolate fudge ganache!

Those pearls took me an hour to put on 😂

A chocolate cake for my lovely colleague’s birthday!

7 bars of chocolate
2.5kg of butter
1 HUGE jar of Nutella
1 box of Lindt balls

Blooming amazing given I had no hours to decorate it!

This one was made from a rich chocolate cake too which also happens to be a favourite!

Tasting Review from one of this year’s brides-

This is my youngest child….. she is super cute and a funny character.

HOWEVER I have discovered a flaw with her…… she doesn’t like lemon cupcakes! 😱

Who is this child, how is she mine????

Thankfully my, rather more discerning, work colleagues thought they were blooming lovely and have volunteered to be taste testers in future!

My wedding couple are tasting tonight so 🤞🏻 they don’t listen to my smallest 🤣

This time of year is NOT the time to diet if you make cakes!

I have a wedding cake to make in a few months and the lovely couple have requested lemon drizzle.

So I have made up some lovely lemon drizzle cupcakes for them to taste.

Sadly the recipe makes more than 4 so my poor family and work colleagues will have to take one for the team this week and eat them for me.

Naturally as these are going out to clients they must be taste tested by me too!

My cute little gonk raised £200 for my lovely colleague’s fundraiser for The Lullaby Trust

The best part is…. It ended up back in our office which meant we got to eat it!!!

Should really get ours made now 😳

First Christmas cake of the year done.

This one is to win at my work Christmas fair.

Unfortunately we lost our beloved cat this weekend so this isn’t as polished as my normal standard given the time I had but hopefully it’ll make someone smile.

Topped with a chocolate orange gonk.

Resharing this gorgeous wedding cake from a few years ago!

Each rose and gerbera was hand made which was hours of work but unbelievably worth it for this gorgeous look.
