How cute is this baby shower cake! I had a few ‘musts’ with this one including the rainbow and the mini macarons! A handmade teddy bear sitting pride of place on this 8” tall cake encased in white chocolate ganache under ivory sugarpaste by THE SUGAR PASTE™ Acrylic paddle topper made by myself to fit the theme. Welcome Baby House!

Love my yearly ‘research’ for Kahlans’ cakes! The last two are definitely not themes that I had in my youth! It’s how’s the growth of mindset over the years in a very special way!! Presenting This years anime Jujutsu Kaisen themed cake! I love a cake wrap and I felt bringing it onto the board with black-and-white manga panel prints just finished it off! Complete with Ryomen Sukuna, hand ( told you I had done my research 🤣). A classic vanilla sponge with jam and buttercream covered in white chocolate ganache under supreme THE SUGAR PASTE™ . ,

So I’m a little behind with sharing on here so I apologise! Life is lifeing and Ive now started a masters levels course for the day job alongside everything else so I apologise! Fab at 50! Celebrating with ch*****ne! This gorgeous cake adorned with edible gold leaf and matching cupcakes was delivered to Hilton Southampton - Utilita Bowl for this special occasion

What an achievement…. 25 years of marriage… and what a lovely way to celebrate. This is a huge double barrelled 8” cake with lemon sponge, lemon curd and lemon buttercream covered in white chocolate ganache which is an amazing combination.

Carrot cake anyone? And who remembers Mrs Tiggy winkle? This is a new style for me but one I’ve fallen in love with. This was a decadent carrot cake with orange buttercream which smelt amazing! With some special addition of mrstiggywinkle

Apologies but I’ve been so busy that I’ve really slacked off sharing all the cakes I’ve been making! The special recipient of this cake has her own Bridge club and the cake was themed around her logo and including her own players card!

Another 🔥 wedding day yesterday Leonardo Hotels Southampton . Thankfully the bride was amazing and was happy to have a thin layer of ganache around bottom and middle tiers of the cake ( top layer vegan) to try and keep it as stable as possible. Thank goodness because the air conditioning unit was broken! This year has pushed bakers to the limit and I will definitely be thinking about designs for future summer weddings!

Triplets turn 8!! Having done cakes for the boys last year it’s always such a privilege to be asked again. They are all into the World Cup so each cake incorporated a keepsake World Cup Trophy and then each was personalised to them…. From sushi to art… and more football. Each cake with its own flavour. Happy birthday boys!!
