Cupcakesbabycakes is a homemade bakery that started in june 2012 and started with making fathers day cakes and has progressed from there. i have a very good client base and my customers always come back for more. i specialise in cupcakes but am moving forward into the world of making bigger cakes now after many request. Currently i supply cupcakes and tray bakes to Moore than Sandwiches in Thornhi

pleas be aware that a large cake will require a non redundable deposit of 50%, should you need to cancel your order 7 days notice is required and if do not give 7 days notice then the full fee will be required. this is only because so many people order cakes and then cancel at the last iute keaving me with either a cake i do not want or equipment i have already purchased for their order.

Small business post

It's inevitable that with the cost of living, people just can't afford to pay out for an expensive cake! I get that and it's something I fully understand and appreciate.
All small business' are feeling the pinch and unfortunately some are being forced to close because it's just not worth the cost to remain open.
This isn't the case for me at the moment. However.......it is something I may have to consider in the new year.
Is it worth me heating my big oven to bake that 1 cake order?
No it isn't...thats the reality of it.
Can I afford to run around supermarkets hunting the cheapest packs of extortionate butter or chasing eggs that aren't there?
No I can't ...I can't justify the fuel, the price increase or my time.
And that for me is really sad 💔
When I first started making cakes I would have 12/13 order a week..now I'm lucky to have 2!
I'm not giving up yet !!!
But in the future I can't rule it out!

I'm so rubbish with photos I literally put them in the box then take one! But the photo doesn't do this beautiful cake justice.
First time making sails and aren't they beautiful!

From next year I will only be offering buttecream style cakes! This hasn't been an easy decision because I love creating all cakes but buttercream styles are proving to be less time consuming and growing in popularity!
Obviously this doesn't apply to big celebration cakes such as weddings engagements and christening cakes.
I have created many lovely buttercream styles lately so I'm not giving up, just changing direction!
Once again thankyou for choosing me to create your cakes!! The past couple of years, despite the pandemic have been crazy and beautiful. I wouldn't have had it any other way ❤

Please be assured that I am currently operating my business as normal. If you have any symptoms or are unwell, please refrain from collecting any orders and alternative arrangements can be made.

If you wish to postpone your event to a later date, please let me know as soon as possible, and I am more than happy to accommodate any changes subject to availability. If you wish to cancel, my usual cancellation policy applies - deposits are non-refundable, and at least 7 days notice must be given.

My last wedding cake of the year set up at the beautiful Oakley Hall in Overton. Consisting of 4 layers of chocolate and salted caramel, carrot, red velvet and traditional fruit. Special thanks to Mumma ds desserts for their help with this cake. Such a beautiful venue in the most beautiful surroundings
