We are the commercial arm of the charity, Communicare and specialise in homemade, sweet and savoury treats. All profits from the bakes sold go towards the charity and the work it does to help lonely and isolated people across Southampton.

We make and bake our own legendary delicious sausage rolls onsite and stock authentic Cornish pasties, made in Cornwall as the law requires!

We also have croissants and pain au chocolat here and often other pastries too – just ask in the shop if you’ve got a special request. 🥐🥧 ✨

And of course, we’ve lots of freshly baked bread to take home 🍞

Every loaf, bake, coffee and treat you buy from us helps support Communicare and its vital work helping people of all ages who are vulnerable and isolated in our community. 🤝

When you choose one of our bakes, you’re not just enjoying handmade, artisan food, that’s made with love – you’re helping MAKE A REAL DIFFERENCE, right here on your doorstep.

👀✨ Can you guess what’s next for our old CommuniBakes fridge?

Something exciting happened at our recent Spring Plant Sale in aid of Communicare in Southampton… 🌱

An old fridge, sitting in our backyard ready for the tip, was talent spotted!

One of our visitors – who came along hoping to transform their garden with a bargain or two – saw its hidden potential straight away, 👀

Now, instead of being thrown away, it’s about to begin a whole new chapter…

With a little help from some bakery friends, it’s set for a makeover and a brand-new lease of life – continuing to assist people right here in our community. 💙

We bake a delicious selection of traybakes fresh every day. 🍰✨

You’ll often spot our famously gooey chocolate brownies on the counter, along with fabulous flapjacks, shortbreads, and plenty of other sweet creations. 😋

Our range changes daily, so there’s always something new to discover – do pop in and see what’s available. 🍫🥮

We’re here today, Wednesday, until 3pm, and tomorrow, and Friday, from 8am to 3pm. On Saturday, we’re open 8am to 2pm.
