Round About Café A community café serving delicious, affordable food and drinks with a friendly, welcoming atmosphere.

Visit us and become a member of our Community Pantry to help reduce food waste and save money. Round About Café is a community facility for the people of Mansbridge. You can drop in for a cappuccino, a sandwich or some lovely cake! You can use the laptops and free WiFi or just come and relax with a book. We also provide training opportunities as well as community activities - have a look at our 'W

hat's on' page on our website to what we've got planned! We are always looking for volunteers so if you can spare a few hours a week or month, get in contact!

If you'd like to join the pantry, pop in and see a member of staff. Anyone with an SO postcode can join for £1 per year, members can shop once a week and choose up to 10 items for £3.50 or up to 15 items for £5.

How do you feel?

Being a community café supported by Abri, we know that strong communities are built when people feel connected, valued and heard. That's why we're supporting , helping to ensure that the voices of our residents and customers are part of a national discussion about the future of community life.

We all experience community life differently. Some feel proud of their area, some feel inspired by their neighbours, and some feel scared to cross the street. We want to know how you feel.

Take part in the National Conversation and share what you value, what you've experienced, and what kind of community you want to live in.

We'll be hosting a friendly facilitated discussion where you can talk about your experiences of community life and complete the National Conversation survey.
Refreshments will be provided.

📱 Participants will need to bring their own smartphone, tablet or laptop to complete the online survey.

Could an evening Community Pantry session help you?

The Community Pantry at Round About Café is currently open Monday to Friday from 8am to 2pm.

We know these times don't suit everyone, so we're looking into whether there may be enough interest in opening for one hour on an evening each week.

If this is something you'd use, we'd love to know:

Looking for ways to keep the kids happy (and fed!) during school holidays? We’ve got you covered! We’re offering a free sandwich or toastie and crisps for children with every paying adult who orders a hot meal.

Whether you’re popping in after a park trip or meeting friends for lunch, let us take care of lunch for the little ones, on the house!

The book hunt starts at 12pm today. The books are suitable for ages 5 to 16, and if you're lucky enough to find one, it's yours to keep and enjoy!

We'd love it if you could take a photo of you and your book and tag us in it on social media!

Please remember:
📖 If the book you find isn't suitable for your child's age, or it's not a book they would enjoy reading, please leave it for someone else to discover.

📖 We want as many children and young people as possible to enjoy taking part, so please only take a book if it's right for you or your family.

📖 The books will be easy to find, try near street signs, trees, green spaces etc.

📖 The books are in plastice covers to keep them dry.

The books are suitable for ages 5 to 16, and if you're lucky enough to find one, it's yours to keep and enjoy!
