Hello!
I hope everyone is well.
I am writing this with a heavy heart as I am closing Julie's Kitchen.
I started this venture 10 years ago and I have made friends from having you all as customers. You have all been so loyal to me and that has been the most difficult part of making this decision.
It has taken me a long time to finally realise that my health is hindering my ability to create perfect cakes.
I really hope that you can find another caker who will make you a wonderful cake fit for your celebration, whatever it may be!
I have had the joys of designing the most unusual themes in sugar and I want to thank you all for giving me those challenges!

Today is my 50th Birthday and I was given this amazing cake made by The Little Bee Bakery in Romsey!

Such an incredible design with my puppy sewing flowery fabric on my new sewing machine, complete with the exact logo and buttons!

Thank you to lovely Gavin who ordered it for me, and thank you to the Little Bee Bakery for creating it!

Dear All,

Julie's Kitchen is now in its 10th year of trading, and I am so grateful to all of my customers, family and friends. You have been so encouraging and complimentary to me on my journey of cake!

Sadly, the last year has been a challenge for me health-wise, and caking has often been a physical struggle. After much thought, I have reluctantly decided that I need a complete break for rest and recuperation.

I will be closing Julie's Kitchen for the Spring months and I will re-evaluate after that.

I want to sincerely thank you all for your understanding and kindness. Also for your many different cake ideas you have trusted me to bring to life! I have enjoyed, and cared about, every one of them, particularly the fondant modelling and sugar flowers.

I feel privileged that I have played a small part in your occasions and celebrations, you are not just customers to me.
