Father’s Day Boxes

If you’re on the lookout for a gift for Father’s Day, then pre-orders are now available for our bakery boxes available for collection on Saturday 20th June. Each one contains:

- small sourdough loaf
- sausage roll
- piece of Lincolnshire Poacher cheese
- jar of house piccalilli
- two Eccles cakes

The cost is £23.50 and the final day for orders is Wednesday 17th June.

Join us as we head to the American South for our next evening event! Low and slow cooking will be the order of the day, with dishes like l slow-cooked brisket and fall-off-the-bone ribs with all the fixins - cornbread, mac n cheese, slaw and more!

We’re celebrating Mother’s Day in our usual style this year with a spring-inspired afternoon tea from 11th - 14th March.

The menu will include delicious finger sandwiches and savouries, freshly baked scones with jam and clotted cream, a selection of seasonal sweet treats and tea or coffee.

It’s the perfect treat for your Mum or other special person in your life.

Tables can be booked from 12pm to 2.30pm each day. The cost is £28 per person and you can add a glass of fizz for an extra £5. We can also provide a children’s afternoon tea for £12 per child.

We’ll be offering takeaway afternoon tea boxes too, which will be £25 per person. If there’s enough demand we’ll make takeaway boxes available for collection on Mother’s Day itself on Sunday 15th March so do let us know if you are interested.

Bookings are now open so email [email protected] to book your table. A deposit of £10 per person will secure your booking.

Bookings are open for our next evening on Friday 20th February! We’re going classic Italian with a menu including pizza, pasta, arancini and tiramisu, and we’ve got some lovely Italian wines to enjoy alongside.

Our first evening event of 2026!

We’re very excited to get back to our monthly dinners inspired by countries from around the world, and this time, for those of us not hitting the slopes, we’re cooking up a night of escapism with our mighty apres-ski feast of alpine-inspired winter warming comfort food to see us through the January blues.

Think steak frites, tartiflette, cheese fondue, profiteroles, strudel and plenty more. The Aperol will be flowing as well as delicious wines paired to the food, and we’ll have cosy options like Toblerone hot chocolate too.

As usual with these events, the vibe is cosy and casual, with menu items priced individually on the night, rather than a set menu. Children are more than welcome too and we’ll have a special menu just for them.

A heads up of our opening hours over the Christmas period.

We’re open as usual this week, and then will be open 9am-2pm on Christmas Eve for order collection, takeaway coffee and Christmas Eve brunch (bookings only).

After that we’ll be closed for our annual Christmas break from 25th December to 6th January, reopening on Wednesday 7th January with our usual hours.

We’re well and truly gearing up for the festive season and we’ve got lots on to look forward to!

🎄First up on 27th November is our Christmas market evening (5-8pm) where we’ll have an extended selection of gifts to shop, as well as wreaths and festive floristry from . The chefs will be treating us to Christmas market-inspired food, and there’ll be festive bakes and drinks aplenty. Plus, we’ll also have children’s gingerbread decorating - get in touch if you want to reserve a set of biscuits (cost £5.50).

❓On Friday 19th December, join us for a jolly old Christmas knees up and get a team together for our big Christmas quiz night. Arrive from 6.30pm with the quiz kicking off at 7.15pm. Plenty of drinks and festive sandwiches and bar snacks available. Maximum 6 people per team, £2 per person. Prizes for the winning teams! Bookings open now.

🎅🏼 On Christmas Eve, we’re hosting a special set brunch from 9am - 2pm to kick off your festivities in style. Join us for a delicious two-course brunch (swipe for menu), alongside some sparkling brunch cocktails, Christmas baked goods and buckets of Christmas cheer. There’ll be a children’s menu available too. Booking essential.

Before the Christmas madness starts we’re squeezing in a super laidback evening to share a few drinks with our wonderful community.

Come along for an extended drinks menu alongside some classic bar snacks with a Leys twist - think scotch eggs, pork scratchings, triple cooked chips, fish finger sandwiches, ham, egg & chips and more.

Children are more than welcome early on when there will be a menu available for them.

We’re delighted to announce the dates for our next evening events on Friday 31st October and Friday 14th November, when we will be hosting two supper clubs of seasonal small plates.

These evenings offer an intimate yet relaxed dining experience with a specially curated, multi-course menu designed for sharing. We’ll also be pairing the menu with a limited, hand-picked selection of wines from our specialist independent wine supplier and cocktails designed for the evening.

Details

As spaces are limited, we are running the same menu on two dates: Friday 31st October and Friday 14th November.

Each evening will run from 7pm - 9.30pm with just one sitting.

The menu (see below) is set with dishes being served to share in the middle of the table and arriving from the kitchen on a rolling basis as they are prepared.

The cost is £65 per person, with drinks charged separately. We kindly request a deposit of £15 per person to secure the reservation.

We’ve had a few enquiries already, so we’re excited to announce the dates for our Christmas wreath-making workshops!

Join us on either Saturday 29th November or Saturday 6th December to kick off the festive season with some wholesome crafting and Christmas cheer!

As usual, you’ll be expertly guided by Rosie of Rosie’s Floristry in making a beautiful wreath to dress your door for the season.

No experience necessary, and all materials are provided. We’ll be serving our famous frangipane mince pies and mulled wine alongside.

There will be a morning session from 10am-12 noon and an afternoon session from 1pm-3pm on each Saturday. Tickets cost £55.
