Welcome to World of Bees where you can watch the honeybees working We are a small business based near Selby N Yorks, selling honey, candles,and more Wheelchair friendly.

Prepping for the weekend. Today I think we’ve had every season rolled into one. Thunderstorms, beautiful sunshine, hail showers,rain. The bees are still busy foraging when the weather holds. The ivy’s still flowering, dandelion, buddleia and bramble 😳 and we are surrounded by white mustard which has just come into bloom. We have a beautiful selection of honeys (the 2oz mini’s have been going like crazy) 🍯, candles, gifts, some new additions to paint your own honey pots,homemade scones, hot and cold drinks. The tastiest ice cream from Burgess Ice Cream Ltd😋 & vegetable soup with a roll. The weather looks good for the weekend so come along for a visit and a chat. 10-3. Hope to see you soon.

👻. We’ve been to The Petal Patch to gather some pumpkins 🎃 which our bees helped to pollinate. Our seating area is a little spooky 👻. Last weekend we had a few sell outs. Pumpkin Spiced Honey, honey Marmalade, orange and lemon & lime and coffee infused honey. We’re fully stocked up again and looking forward to seeing everyone this weekend. Open 10-3. Saturday & Sunday.

Our store is fully stocked with all your favourites. We have been completely overwhelmed with sales of our pumpkin spice honey so we have made some more,your feedback has been amazing thank you. We are open as usual this weekend 10 until 3. We have all the usual hot and cold drinks and a new addition!! Hot soup and fresh bread rolls mmmm! We also have burgess ice cream.

Ooh it’s been a busy week. Today Darren Helmed the shop as i was invited to a MacMillan coffee day (something so close to my heart with the support we had for Mum). We had a great day. We are open tomorrow 10-3. Picture of the photo I entered to the Yorkshire Beekeepers Association. Highly Commend and will be on display at next year’s Yorkshire Show along with the winner and runners up. Was absolutely over the moon as it was taken on my old SE phone. 😁
