I had a last-minute request for a birthday cake, and I had so much fun creating it! 🎂💗

This beauty is a double-layer vanilla sponge cake, covered in pink buttercream icing and finished with a delicious chocolate drip around the edge. It’s topped with a gorgeous variety of macarons, assorted chocolate bars, biscuits and decorations. 🍫🍪✨

I think it looks absolutely amazing, and I hope the birthday girl loves it! 💕

After the most amazing wedding and honeymoon island-hopping around Greece with Phil, I’m so excited to be back in the kitchen and baking again! 💍🇬🇷🧁

We’re kicking things off with a pop-up event this Sunday, 23rd August, and we’d absolutely love to see lots of you there! Come along to Legbourne Community Centre (LN11 8LW) from 11am–4pm to say hello, have a catch me-up and, of course, treat yourself to some of our delicious goodies! 🥐🍰

Then, the following weekend, we’ll be back at the Heckington Bank Holiday Car Boot Sale (NG34 9RX) — one of our favourite events where we always have such a brilliant day! 🙌
We’ll be there from 8am with all your usual favourites, plus some delicious new additions that we can’t wait for you to try! 🤤

What an incredible day we had on Friday at St Botolph's C of E Primary School for their Festival and Colour Rush! 🌈🎉

It was so lovely to see so many smiling faces and to keep everyone fuelled with our delicious homemade bakes. The amazing feedback we received truly means the world to us – thank you to everyone who came to support us!

That was our last pop-up event for a little while, as Phil and I are getting married in less than TWO weeks! 💍🥂 We honestly can't wait! After the wedding, we're off to Greece for some island hopping on our honeymoon. 🇬🇷☀️

Once we're back, we have lots of exciting events planned and can't wait to get back to doing what we love – baking for you all!

Although we won't be at any events for a few weeks, we do still have some availability for custom orders. We've been a little quiet on here recently… we promise we haven't eaten all the cake! 🤭🧁

As many of you know, Phil and I are getting married at the end of the month, so it's been a whirlwind of wedding planning, last-minute jobs, and trying to remember that cake orders and seating plans are two very different things! 💍😂

Before the big day, we've still got a couple of lovely events lined up:
🧁 Saturday 11th July – Finley's Fundraiser at Ruskington Playing Fields
🧁 Friday 17th July – St Botolph's School Summer Fair

We'd absolutely love to see you there! Come and say hello, grab a sweet treat (or two... we won't judge 😉), and support some fantastic local events.

We also had a brilliant day today at Metheringham Car Boot. The feedback we received was honestly incredible, and hearing how much you've been enjoying our bakes means more to us than you'll ever know. 🩷

Thank you all for supporting our little bakery through the wedding chaos—we promise normal cake-related service will resume soon... once we've survived saying "I do!" 😂💒🍰
