Set up in 2011 by Ellis, Ellis Clark Trains specializes in buying and selling all scales of model railway, from Z all the way up to 7 1/4. Throughout childhood, Ellis' interest in model trains grew as his father (Andrew of Andrew Clark Models) took him to the National Railway Museum in York, little did he know what he was letting himself in for, as before you know it, he was taking Ellis to the mu

seum on almost a monthly basis! Not to mention the railway exhibitions in between! It was in December of 2010 when Andrew his Dad gave him a call, while at this point working in a coffee shop, and put it to Ellis that if he ever wanted to set up a business of his own, he could take up some space in his office, you can imagine the shock on his face when Ellis handed in his notice that very same day! Since then Ellis' love for model trains has continued and turned into a full time business travelling the country buying and selling all eras and scales of model railway, die-cast and tinplate

The Darstaed Finescale O Gauge LNER Class A4

The Darstaed Finescale O Gauge Class A4 is a museum-quality scale model constructed entirely from brass. Just 200 examples have been produced of the legendary streamlined express locomotive, including three liveries and some of the most famous names.

Ellis Clark Trains will act as exclusive UK distributor for this limited run of collectors’ models. Alongside all-brass construction, the Darstaed A4 features an array of stunning detail and the same ABC motor/gearbox combination as the Ellis Clark Trains Black 5, ensuring flawless performance on the track. DCC sound models are equipped with dual speakers, YouChoos sound file on a Zimo MS950 decoder and Zimo synchronised smoke generator.

Available from November, models are priced at £2495 for DC/Analogue versions and £2795 for those equipped with DCC sound and synchronised smoke.
