Sometimes you just can’t beat old school!

Been having a play around this week. Our Cornflake Crunch Cookies are always hugely popular and I have recently been asked to include more of them into our everyday selection.

Whilst baking last week, I messed up (it sometimes happens 😂) and I made too much Cornflake Crunch so rather than wasting it, I made it into little clusters and from this…. The Mini Cornflake Clusters were born.

Individual pieces of Dairy Milk covered Cornflakes presented in a beautiful cellophane bag tied with ribbon. Perfect as a gift or just to snack on yourself.

So far they have sold before I could get a photo so quickly taken one this morning 📷

I would just like to thank each and every one of you that took time out of your day yesterday to wish us a happy 7th Birthday.

I was overwhelmed by the number of messages, customers calling in (even in the horrid weather) and the birthdays cards and flowers!

When budgets are tight, choosing to spend money at my little coffee shop is a deliberate act of support and I can’t tell you how grateful I am for you choosing me 🥰

Today, The Coffee Mill is 7 years old! 🎉

I can’t quite believe it’s 7 years since we first opened our doors to you all. Gosh, I was so nervous! I didn’t sleep at all the night before we opened worrying if we had missed anything vital from our purchases but more still, if anyone would actually come in for a coffee or not.

I shouldn’t have worried at all… you came in droves!

To be honest, those first few days passed by in such a blur, I don’t remember much about them, and yes, we had missed a few things from our essentials kit but those were easily added without too much of a problem.

During the last seven years, staff members have come and gone but my family have remained a constant back up for me. Some of us you see more than others but it is definitely a family business!

I would 100% be lost without them! 🥰

I would just like to thank all my old and new customers from the bottom of my heart for keeping me here for the last 7 years and hope to see you over the next 7 years too!

I love being part of this community and have met so many amazing people through this little coffee shop…… so….THANK YOU 🥰

We certainly missed you! ❤️ After a wonderful two weeks away for a family holiday, we are so excited to announce that The Coffee Mill and Cakes is officially reopening our doors on Tuesday, 21st July. We are fully rested and ready to welcome all of our amazing, loyal customers back for a proper catch-up.
