A belated Bonne Année to all of our wonderful customers! 2024 will be a big year for us, marking TEN YEARS serving crepes, waffles, shakes and coffee here on Mardol Head 🎉 ☕🇫🇷

To celebrate we'll be shining a light on some of our menu items that have come to define who we are as well as a few memories over the years.

We'd also love to see any photos you've taken - we've not been great with taking photos ourselves, especially during hectic busy periods, so we'd love to see your own! DM or [email protected]

We are very saddened by the tragic news yesterday and our thoughts are with the family and friends of the four boys who sadly lost their lives 🕯️🕯️🕯️🕯️

We're a big fan of live music here at Sophie's (Mat spent 15 years working within live music before opening the shop) so we're pleased to support three interesting, wildly different gigs coming up in Shrewsbury soon!

Simeon Walker, who we heard on BBC 6 Music last week, will be playing the Unitarian Church 21st.

Then a couple of days later, local indie promoters are bringing some out-of-town acts to the English Bridge workshop for a rabble rousing afternoon of noise rock.

Finally, promoters Upset The Rhythm who Londoners have relied on for their weekly diet of experimental, indie and avant garde gigs for nigh on 15 years are returning to their roots with this their first gig in Shrewsbury with Bill Orcutt's Guitar Quartet.
