Milk Chocolate Brownie. All our cakes are handmade at our bakery in Dorset (we're located on a lovely old dairy farm!) using ethically sourced ingredients. We're a trusted gluten free bakery that

The perfect Autumn tea time treat 🍂⁠

Our classic Orange and Pistachio Polenta Cake is inspired by Italian baking tradition. Enjoy it as it comes or why not dial up the decadence by adding a three chocolate drizzle on top.⁠

What you need:⁠
1 Orange and Pistachio Polenta Cake traybake.⁠
25g Milk chocolate buttons⁠
25g Dark chocolate buttons⁠
25g White chocolate buttons⁠
40g Pistachio pieces⁠
⁠
Divide up the slices in the traybake (it come pre-cut into 16 pieces.⁠
Melt the 3 types of chocolate separately in the microwave for 15 second bursts on medium power. Stir the chocolate and repeat. Alternatively, melt the chocolate using the bain marie method.⁠

Using the end of a metal spoon, drizzle the melted milk chocolate over the slices. Then repeat with the dark and white chocolate on top. Finish by sprinkling with pistachio pieces on top. ⁠

Allow the chocolate to set before serving....if you can wait that long!⁠

All Honeybuns traybakes and slices are hand made from scratch using thoughtfully put together ingredients. Polenta, almonds and sorghum are our store cupboard staples. We specialise in making classic flapjacks, layered slices and chocolate brownies with a nod to Italian baking traditions. Using our own flour blends instead of wheat flours means all our cakes happen to be gluten free. Take a look at our great range of plant based and dairy free options too.

Our two cook books are packed to the rafters with indulgent teatime treats to bake at home, including the original free from recipes Emma started Honeybuns with.

In a typical week, we use around 1320 free range eggs. Our eggs have come from the same farm, just two miles away, for the past twenty years. Being committed to grow ever more sustainable and reduce our impact on the environment, recently we've been busy increasing our on-site recycling by introducing closed loop recycling initiatives. We now pop the shells in compostable bags which are then popped into our compost bins on site. We now look forward to growing oak saplings in the compost, which will be planted in the nature reserve next to Ash trees, mitigating Ash die back.

We have very exciting news (and wish we lived closer)....
Booths, the high end supermarket chain, are now selling our premium cakes in their cafes ☕️

We are so proud that BoothsCountry have chosen our premium cakes to add to their cafe menu. They now have the fudgy and richly chocolatey Dark Chocolate Brownie and tea time classic Raspberry Bakewell to tempt you on your tea time breaks.

We are aiming to do some tastings next month so keep an eye on our socials for updates.

Can you believe it is now October and officially Autumn! As the days get shorter and chillier, our thoughts turn towards the perfect treats to hunker down with. May we suggest this gorgeously gooey trio of autumnal bakes to cosy up with. As you would expect from us, they all just so happen to also be gluten free.

🍂 Cinnamon Slice is filled with irresistible Autumn flavours. This layered slice is the perfect cake to cuddle up with as the nights draw in.

🍂 Cinder Toffee Brownie is a rich, fudgy treat. The cinder toffee pieces contrast beautifully with the gooey softness of the brownie. For extra decadence we drizzle molten dark chocolate over the top.

🍂 Pecan and Maple Polenta Cake really comes into its own this season. Deliciously buttery almond sponge subtly spiced with ginger and cinnamon, with pecan pieces and finished with a maple caramel drizzle.
