Nelly's Sweet Treats - Bespoke Cake Maker

18/10/2026

I’m taking part in this wonderful wedding showcase this week.

We’re hosting our Wedding Showcase at the Sitwell Arms Hotel on 20th - 24th October, Tuesday - Friday 12-9pm & Saturday 10-5pm, and we’d love for you to join us.

Experience the venue beautifully dressed for a wedding, enjoy a complimentary glass of Prosecco on arrival, meet our trusted suppliers, and spend time with Jo-Anne and the team as you explore everything the Sitwell Arms has to offer.

Come with questions. Come with your partner. Come with every idea you’ve been dreaming about. Walk the grounds. Sit in the rooms. Picture your day unfolding here-without pressure and without obligation.

Just a reminder for this fabulous showcase coming this week. Starting Tuesday.

What if your only job on your wedding day was to enjoy it?

No chasing suppliers. No worrying what happens next. No checking whether everything is where it should be.

That’s what an experienced wedding team is for.

Come and meet ours at the October Wedding Showcase. See the venue, talk through your plans and discover what it feels like to have people around you who genuinely know weddings.

Your day. Fully present. Completely looked after.

Joel knew exactly what this cake should look like. He’d seen one of my calendar cakes and a gold cake and we married the two. A huge cake of chocolate and Biscoff. Covered in ganache and fondant and made extra blingy for a 30th birthday.

Sheffield City Council what have you done to the traffic lights on Gleadless Townend. It’s now backing up every day like this on Ridgeway Road as far up as Raeburn Road. Sort it out 🤬🤬🤬

PLEASE SHARE TO GET THIS SEEN.

VOTING CLOSES 31st OCTOBER

Nelly’s Sweet Treats has been nominated for the Yorkshire Wedding Awards - Best Wedding Cake Maker 2026.

If I had the privilege of creating your wedding cake or sugar couple or you BOOKED with me between 1st April 2024 and 31st December 2025, I’d be so grateful if you could take a moment to cast your vote.

Helping my wonderful couples celebrate their very special day means the absolute world to me and I genuinely care about every little detail that goes into making your wedding extra magical.

It’s a scoring system followed by a series of questions and your answers could make a difference in the event of a close score.

Thank you so much for your continued support of my little business, I absolutely love what I do and I hope it shows in every thing I make.

Lots of love Helen. AKA Nelly. ❤️
