Sometimes we all want a sweet, tasty treat to cheer up ours, or a loved ones day :-) look no further...

I supply home-made American style frosted cupcakes in a wide variety of styles and flavours, plus a large range of tasty celebration cakes with delivery also available. All cakes produced by me are made by me, from scratch, from start to finish. I never use packet mix or pre-made mixtures and A

LWAYS use REAL butter, no margarine!!! No, its not low calorie and no we shouldn't eat it all the time but as a treat there is nothing that makes a cake taste better :-)

All of my cakes contain my TOP SECRET ingredient, I do not know of any one else who uses it in their baking and it gives my cakes their unique, more-ish taste. I am registered with environmental health as selling food which I make from home, so you can be assured that all my products are made in a clean and hygienic environment. Evening,

Just popping on to say congratulations to Kaisha, who has been completing her apprenticeship with me, for the last few months.

I have now received her certificate in the post to give to her, so it’s official, she is the holder of her Level 2 Customer Service award (and also her Maths 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼)

I’m really proud of her for reaching this goal, and I know she’s glad to have got it done ☑️

As is the case for many young people at the min, it’s really difficult to find work. Kaisha’s looking for some more part time hours, to coincide with the ones she does currently, ideally in food/customer service, but open to anything really within reason; have you seen an vacancies recently you could share in the comments?

Also, another achievement for BWNAB to have been able to support a young person with this goal - I’m grateful it was something I could do and be part of.

Afternoon everyone hope you’re all enjoying your summer ☀️

I’ve seen a few other pages do this, so here’s some things we’ve done the first 2 weeks of the Summer hols, what I thought of them, and if I’ll do it again.

Into week 3 now, and of course I had to take advantage of my Monday off, and have a day out. And also today 😅🤦🏼‍♀️ but after that I’m concentrating on decorating the girls rooms, as they’re all ready for a refresh.

I asked my younger 2 to write down 5 “Bucket List” things they’d like to do; this was an experience as they range from making pasta 🍝 from scratch ?? 🫠🤔 - I mean atleast it’s cheap 😅 - to attending a K-Pop concert “not a tribute mum, a REAL one”😅; that’ll be a challenge 😅 so will work on getting them down ✍🏼

Summer hols is always a challenge for parents and also to keep on a budget, well done to us all so far 🙌🏼

LM8 Waterside Coffeehouse is 1 year old this week, tomorrow we will have a fully stocked counter, alcohol menu and some fun things to do 🙂

Open 10am - 6pm 🕕

If you’ve been already, thank you, if you haven’t and have been waiting to visit or feel like a canalside walk, watching a few boats, feeding some ducks (if they’re not in the shade) - it’s a perfect day to pop down and give it a try.

We also have 3 of the big lions 🦁 on the Pride of Yorkshire trail within a few metres of the shop.

🌟 Free cupcake or prosecco for the first 20 customers tomorrow
🌟 There are some FREE coffees hiding in our takeaway coffee cups - who will be first to get one ✨
🌟 Bags of duck food £1
🌟 Colouring sheets for anyone who wants one
🌟 there is some hot food to giveaway but once this is gone it’s gone

🌟 Music and good vibes in a pretty setting 🙂

We also have our full menu on as normal; Icecreams, milkshakes, iced coffee and matcha, toasties, paninis and plenty of cookie pies 🙂
