Seeing it all laid out like this really helps… just 6 more pounds & I’ll have lost 4 stone (I honestly can’t wrap my head round it, I still keep buying clothes that are too big for me 🤣)

Every now & then I send myself a message with the date & my weight. I think the biggest tip I could give anyone is to let people take photos of you on nights out/wherever you are. I think I was in denial that because I took a nice selfie that I was in control of, that I didn’t look that big… then I caught a candid glimpse of myself on someone else’s photo & I was like… sh*t… 🤣💀

I’m quite tall (5 foot 9) too so I could sort of pull it off which didn’t help. Most people say they didn’t see me as fat (I think I had reverse body dysmorphia because I didn’t think I was fat either 🤣🤷🏻‍♀️)

I still don’t see myself as fat and now thin, I was thin (ish) before, even after I had my son, I now see myself as getting back to normal. Being heavy was just a blip 🙂

I am really enjoying having a bit of definition back on my face & being able to wear things I like rather than being forced into wearing things that just cover me up!

Right, early finish this week so now I’m off to play Frisbee in the park! Nice bit of exercise & a long walk in the sun! (Great for the mind & great for the heart! ♥️)

Well I’m bloody chuffed I managed to go on a 12 night holiday & eat nice food & not put on a single pound! Weighed myself when I got back & had put on 2 pounds but weighed myself again this morning & it’s gone - wooo!

Can start again where I left off now. Can’t wait for Zumba & Pickleball! Bike ride with dad next week & walk in the woods tomorrow (if I’m not too hungover 🙂)

(Sorry for the non cake-related post - just feeling super positive! 🙂 And wanted to encourage anyone else trying to lose weight that you can totally do it without depriving yourself if you tweak little things & *change* the way you eat rather than “dieting” - even if you go on holiday!)

I’ve now lost 3 stone since November & aim to lose another 2… 😬
