Today is a huge day for me and my business! 🎉
Many months of work, planning, coordination, contractor management and supplier issues (that's a story for another time) FINALLY coming together over these next TWO weeks.
This is how it starts, my two new ovens have arrived, and this afternoon the kitchen arrives!
🪚 Tomorrow til Friday my kitchen fitter is in getting me installed (I'm building the units to speed up the process
🪠 Thursday night my lovely plumber and neighbour comes back to install the sink, dishwasher and core drill for my extractor to vent outside (no recycling of air while I'm airbrushing cakes(
🗓️ Next week electrician, decorator and builder are all back for the final wire up, last coat of paint on the walls and fire door fitting between studio and the back storage area.
🗓️ The week after I can start the process of deep cleaning, moving in around my existing orders and slowly move out of my current set up into my dream space
There will be more building work later in the year to create a custom space for storage and displaying my cakes and stands (where the ovens currently sit) I need to live and work in the space before committing to that design
I genuinely cannot believe this is almost a reality, almost a year from receiving planning permission
