My wonderful fellow cake person Cheryl celebrated her Ruby wedding anniversary to her lovely husband Dan in September and trusted me to make their cake.
The cake flavours were chocolate cake, filled with chocolate milkshake buttercream and coated in milk chocolate ganache and white chocolate & strawberry cake, filled with strawberry & cream buttercream ans coated in white chocolate ganache.

Happy New Year everyone. My one NY's resolution is to post my photos after I've made the cake!

Kara celebrated her 40th back in August with a black forest chocolate cake. Layers of chocolate sponge, filled with black forest flavoured buttercream, cherry curd and coated in vanilla and black forest buttercream, with some edible silver leaf & sprinkles as decoration.

Hugo turned 10 back in June and celebrated with an Arsenal themed cake.

My eldest niece turned 18 today (I feel sooo old) and she could have had any cake she wanted.

In the past, there have been fairies, pandas, ballet dancers, a spider, a dragon, and even a highland cow once so what did she request for her special birthday, a chocolate cake, covered in chocolate with more chocolates on top 🤣

Oh course, her wish was my command, so 6 layers of chocolate cake, filled with chocolate milkshake buttercream and nutella, coated in milk chocolate ganache, dripped with white chocolate ganache and then topped off with twirl & crunchie bites, curly wurlies and chocolate buttons.

To celebrate Jess turning 40, she had a 6-inch almond cake, filled with cherry curd and cherry bakewell flavoured buttercream, coated in dark chocolate ganache. The cake was then decorated with edible wafer butterflies.
