50th Birthday Cake

A chocolate cake with rich chocolate buttercream, vanilla sponge filled with classic jam and silky smooth vanilla buttercream, and lemon sponge filled with zesty lemon buttecream! Covered with velvety white chocolate ganache, fondant and edible film reel of photos of the birthday boy and his family ❤️

My most ambitious and favourite piece of work yet. It just so happens to be my own wedding cake, and I couldn't be more proud of it.

Never did i expect to be able to create something like this, and i would do it all over again.

All the sugar flowers are hand made, and the gold tier ties in with my colour theme of burgundy and gold. It looked truly elegant in the gorgeous old barn we had our ceremony and reception in ❤️👰🤵

Something slightly different to my normal cakes....

50th Birthday Cake for my auntie who prefers less icing and more sponge! So, what could be better than a semi naked cake? Elderflower and lemon sponge brushed with elderflower cordial and lemon syrup, topped with buttercream icing, fresh fruit and hand made bunches of hydrangeas which were painted with very subtle hints of blue, purple and pink lustre dust 💐

Pictures aren’t great as there was a slight rush to get to the venue before the birthday girl arrived!

A camo Fortnite cake for Jack’s 12th birthday. Vanilla sponge with jam and butter cream filling, topped with white chocolate ganache and camo fondant. The gr***de, bullet belt, dog tag and number 12 we’re all hand made!

Only fellow bakers will understand the excitement when you finally master ganaching without it taking hours and hours and using a profroster. This is a massive victory for me. I have been trying for months to master using my profroster as people have been raving how it’s well worth it’s money, and I was wondering what everyone was on about. Welcome to the world of sharp edges and straight cakes!

P.s I know the cake isn’t in the middle of the board, it will be transferred to it’s real board once it has firmly set ❤️

A gooey chocolate cake filled with chocolate butter cream, topped with chocolate ganache and covered with fondant. Accompanied by a hand made model elephant, fondant blocks, bunting and baby feet 🐘👶🏻

Emoji Poo cake for Amelia’s 7th birthday 💩
Inside is a gluten free chocolate cake with chocolate buttercream, rice crispie treats to form the top, covered in a chocolate ganache, and topped with a hand made pink bow 🎀, face, pink lettering and matching ribbon.

All ingredients used were gluten free!
