Vintage vibes for my own birthday cake this year 🖤

I’ve surprisingly never actually made my own birthday cake before, but any excuse to eat cake, right? 🤪

An 8” heart-shaped cake with two layers of chocolate sponge, filled with the smoothest, creamiest milk chocolate ganache 😍
Finished with vintage-style piping and little black bows for that classic look.

Safe to say, I’m very happy with how this one turned out, especially as a first heart cake 🤍

Happy Saturday everyone! 🩷

I’m sorry it’s been a little quiet on here this week! It’s been a busy one behind the scenes, making lots of celebration cakes 🎂🩷

Unfortunately, the Cake Shed won’t be open this weekend. I’d much rather take the time to make sure everything is baked to the quality you know and love, rather than rush things just to open!

But don’t worry, I’ll be back next weekend as usual! 🩷

It’s the final day of this weekend’s menu, and there’s not much left in the shed, so we’re doing something new.

Everything left is just £2🔥
Brownies, sponges, dipping pots and flapjacks, all for just £2 each!

We’re open today (5th October), 9am – 9pm, or until everything has sold out!
