Save the date for the Christmas Lights Switch-On event in Sevenoaks on Saturday 28th November!

This much-loved community event will be from 3pm to 5:30pm.

The High Street and part of Akehurst Lane will be closed from 1:30pm to 7pm.

There will be plenty of activities to keep the whole family entertained. You can enjoy stage entertainment, including from Frozen's Elsa, Anna and Olaf, fairground rides, Santa's Grotto, stalls, food and drink, as well as street entertainment. Made in Kent will be the compères for the event again this year.

Bring the whole family and enjoy an afternoon full of festive fun. We look forward to celebrating together as we light up Sevenoaks!

If you live in Sevenoaks Town, you can borrow a thermal imaging camera for free from the Town Council office on Bradbourne Vale Road. It’s a great way to identify heat loss and help make your home warmer and more energy efficient this winter.

Sevenoaks Art Club is celebrating 125 years of creativity. This anniversary year, the club’s exhibition will support the Mayor of Sevenoaks' chosen charity, Hospice in the Weald, and most paintings will include a specified percentage donation.

The exhibition, called Brushworks, will be at SVAF at Sevenoaks Kaleidoscope Gallery, from 11-21 November. Explore this exciting collection of contemporary and traditional work by local artists.
