For sale at Gisburn tomorrow.

Lillyhall Atwood Cortina in calf to sexed April Day Macdonald P Red.
Due in 3 weeks with its 4th. Unclassified last year as we weren’t recording due to going out of milk.

Its 14 month old daughter and 5 month old granddaughter also sell in two weeks time, along with 5 other in calf heifers which we mentioned in an earlier post, these are the very last cattle to sell from the Aliann herd and were only kept back as they were babies on sale day.

Well the end of an era here at Hard Head Farm but what a day to end on! Our 4th and final Aliann sale was everything we hoped for and would like to say a massive thank you to all the buyers and under bidders and everyone that attended or supported any of previous sales, we wish you the best of luck with your cows and hope they go on and do well at their new homes. Norton and brooksbank again did a cracking job of the sale.

Would also like to say a massive thank you to anyone that helped with on the sale day and the weeks and months running up to the sale a lot of hard work went into getting those cows all ready for the day and we couldn’t of done it without a brilliant team of staff couldn’t thank you lot enough you know who you are!!

A special thank you also goes out to Anthony Jackson and his family for all their hard work, commitment and involvement with the herd since the very start after re stocking due to foot and mouth. The cows simply would not of made it to the shows without him. Anthony was also key in organising the reduction sales and the dispersal sale. There has been many a fond memory over the years going to shows with Hattie, Elliot, Charles and Jeremy.
