We have some *very* exciting news… 🥹

✨ WE’RE OPENING OUR SECOND CAKE SHED! ✨🍰

After the amazing support we’ve received at our original Cake Shed in Sedbergh, and the incredible feedback after selling out at the recent Irlam & Cadishead jumble trail, we’re so excited to announce that ‘The Bakehouse by Lauren’ is growing! 🎀

Our new location will be opening its doors in Manchester 🤍

📍 2 Eldon Road, Irlam, Manchester, M44 6DH
🎀 Grand Opening: Saturday 24th October 2026
⏰ 10am–8pm, every other weekend

And don’t worry, our original Cake Shed in Sedbergh will remain open! 🧁 Our two locations will be open on opposing weekends to ensure that you’ll be able to get your fix *every single weekend* — whether you’re in Sedbergh or Irlam! 🥰

Both sheds will be filled with our handcrafted artisan bakes, sweet & savoury options on offer! Made with lots of love in our home bakery, with **allergen-friendly options available too**. 🌸

We honestly couldn’t have dreamed of reaching this point, especially in just 7 months! The incredible support from everyone who has visited, shared, recommended and enjoyed our bakes so far. Thank you! 🤍

So… Cumbria + Manchester = twice the Cake Shed love! 🍰🎀

to celebrate a wonderful 70 years of the community hub! 🫶🏻

I’ve been up late all weekend baking our fan favourites as well as mixing in some new autumnal bakes as we head into spooky season!

We’re also running a little competition to win TWO FREE bakes of your choice at the people’s hall! All you have to do is GUESS THE WEIGHT of the hugeeeee (could be a clue 😉) batch of brownie batter which is 4 TIMES more than we’d usually make 😅
