Hi everyone!

As some of you already know, we have sold the shop in Seahouses and will be moving online. We will post more about our new venture very soon! In the meantime, if you’ve missed our cake, you can pop down to The Hindmarsh Hall in Alnmouth between 10-12pm every Saturday this summer! This week we’ve donated chocolate, carrot, and lemon cake plus some brownies! In addition to our cakes- you can find gorgeous produce, savouries, and jams! The proceeds go to the upkeep of the hall 😊

We want to take a moment to share some personal news. Thanks to an injury, our bakery will be temporarily closed for the next couple weeks.

In addition, after much reflection, we have made the difficult decision to put our bakery up for sale due to ongoing health issues. This little bakery has been a labor of love, and it has brought us immense joy to be part of your weekends over the past year.

While this chapter is coming to a close, a new one is beginning. Behind the scenes, we’ve been dreaming up something a little different, yet deeply connected to the spirit of what the curious cookie was originally intended for. We’re excited to begin transitioning into Moonflour— a heart-led evolution of what we’ve built here. We will post more about it in the coming weeks, but it will include online ordering!

Thank you for supporting our journey so far. Your kindness, encouragement, and sweet tooth have meant the world to us. We hope you’ll stay with us as we continue to grow and evolve in this new direction.

Please note that we will be open on the weekends this summer/autumn, so you will still be able to get your favourite bakes!

Hello June! Welcome to a month that perfectly bridges spring and summer here at The Curious Cookie. As the days grow longer and the Northumberland coast comes alive with visitors, we're excited to share what makes this month special. June brings Father's Day on the 15th, giving us the perfect opportunity to celebrate all the amazing dads with treats that show how much they mean to us.

Our weekend counters will be brimming with fresh seasonal treats, hearty quiches perfect for picnics, and of course our signature cookies that have become a Seahouses favourite.
