💔 A Very Sad Goodbye 💔

It is with heavy hearts that we announce that our lovely shop in Seaford will be closing its doors.

After an emotional four wonderful years, we have sadly reached the point where we can no longer continue. Over the last eight months, we have seen a significant decline in footfall and, like so many small businesses, we have been affected by the rising costs of everything from energy and rates to stock and day-to-day running expenses. We had hoped to hold on until after the summer, but unfortunately, due to staffing issues, this is no longer possible.

Our final day will be confirmed, however it will be within the next couple of weeks. We would love to see as many of you as possible before we close our doors for the last time.

We have been incredibly fortunate to have the most amazing customers. The support, kind reviews, feedback, and loyalty you have shown us over the years have meant the world. Sadly, despite all of that, it is no longer enough to make the business sustainable.

While the shop may be closing, this isn’t completely goodbye. We will still be offering our outside catering services and our horse box will continue attending events across Sussex. We are also planning a number of pop-up evenings in various locations, so you’ll still be able to get your crepe fix!

Looking back, we realise just how much this little shop has meant to so many people—and to us. We’ve watched children grow up, celebrated countless birthdays, served wonderful afternoon teas, welcomed families year after year, and shared special Mother’s Day celebrations with so many lovely mums. Along the way, we’ve built friendships that we will treasure forever.

Serving this community has been an absolute pleasure and a privilege. The memories we’ve made together will stay with us always.

This is an incredibly sad time for us, but we hope you’ll come and help us give the shop the send-off it deserves over the coming weeks.

We have a busy and exciting weekend ahead with a fantastic triple lineup.

First, we’ll be at our first Medieval Festival of the season, which promises to be an incredible and family-friendly experience. We’ll also be attending the much-loved Bishopstone Fête—one of our favourite ways to begin May.

And of course, our beautiful shop in Seaford will be open as usual, serving a delicious selection of food and drinks.
