Call for national recognition of our Marine Nature Recovery Framework 🌊

Our latest 'Together for Nature' newsletter has exciting updates from across the region, including the Local Nature Partnership's call for better recognition of the Marine Nature Recovery Framework!

The MNRF is England’s first regional blueprint for the recovery of our coast and seas, complementing the statutory Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Nature Recovery Strategy.

We encourage everyone to use and share the Framework for any marine projects, or land based projects which help the marine environment through improving water quality 🔊

Martin Howlett is a Tamar Valley farmer who champions farming with nature. He is a Board member for the Local Nature Partnership and Chairs one of its newest Delivery Partnerships, the Farming for Food and Nature Group 🥕🚜

🌟So far over 2 million trees have been planted in a huge range of projects all around Cornwall. 🌳🚜🤝🐑🍎

💪 The expert F4C team are ensuring that the right tree species are being planted in the right place for the right purpose, with maintenance plans in place.

Fal Rivers to Reef and Forest for Cornwall have been featured in The Guardian

The article shines a spotlight on the growing partnership between farmers, fishers and conservationists across the Fal catchment, who are working together to improve water quality and protect some of England's most important marine habitats 🐟

From reducing runoff on farms and restoring orchards, to planting trees and exploring nature-based solutions, local people are taking action from the source of the River Fal right through to the sea 🌊
