A bit of an emotional post from me today 🥹

Owning your own business is amazing, and there are so many positives that come with it. But there’s also a side that many people don’t see.

Finding a good work/life balance can be really difficult. Most of you know how hard I’ve worked to get this business off the ground since opening the shop, and while I’ve poured my heart and soul into it, it has meant having very little time for much else over the past year and a half.

Any spare time I’ve had has quite rightly been spent with my little girl and my husband ❤️, but it’s also meant going months at a time without seeing some of my closest friends.

So today, when one of my best friends gave me this gift, I cried (of course! 😭). The message inside meant so much to me and reminded me that all the hard work is worth it. My friends will always be there and the time we do get to spend together becomes even more special 🫶

I feel like I’m finally at a point with the business where I don’t feel quite so guilty about closing early occasionally or taking a day off. And that’s all because of the support from you! My amazing, loyal customers who continue to support me week after week.

Thank you for always being there, for supporting my small business, and for understanding just how challenging running a business can be. I appreciate every single one of you🤎
