Now for something a little different. My youngest who’s not so young anymore loves the maze runner films. She asked for a maze cake showing the gates into the maze with the names of her favourite cast members written on one side. I’ve also added my inspiration pic. 🎂🍫😍♥️

I had sooo much fun making this cake. My brief was vanilla cake with raspberry jam. A dog who resembled the recipients dog and the message to appear as if it’s the dog saying it. I’ve just had the loveliest feedback from the lovely lady that ordered it as a surprise for her husband. Apparently my cake made him shed a few tears but in the best way possible. 🎂🍫😍♥️

I forgot I’d taken this picture. The rainbow cake ready to bake in comparison to the finished product. I’m so happy with how the colours came out. Different food colourings can fade or change during baking.

I’ve not made a rainbow cake in ages! What could be better than rainbow sponge and millions of sprinkles. My youngest spent soooo long asking me if I had any spare sprinkles for her 🤣 the feedback from my lovely customer made me well up a little I love it when I meet all your expectations with my creations.
