Right, I think I've finally caught up, spoken to everyone who needs spoken to and all my ducks are back in a line!

That being said, I'm now making the decision to close my custom orders book for 2026. I've been running with my fuel light on all summer and I think it's time to stop, breathe and reassess how much I'm taking on. The diary is pretty chockablock anyways, with only one or two dates free so I'm going to take those to think about what's realistic for the business going forward.

2027 diaries will open later on in the year, and it'll be business as usual otherwise!

🎄 I'm also on the lookout for some Christmas fairs & markets from November onwards. Preferences go to midweek events due to kitchen availability! If anyone knows of any do send me through some info 🎄

‼️

I'm hoping to get back to it this week - we're all recovering (albeit slowly!) and my peerie lass isn't quite able for daycare as of yet. I'll try get back to everyone's messages tomorrow!

Custom cake orders will be as normal, deliveries to Sound Service Station SHOULD resume Friday, and I'm hoping to open the cubby up this weekend without a set menu to allow myself to bake what I can without a huge pressure. Thank you all so much for bearing with me, it's lovely being a one man band but when things go wrong they really do mean shutting up shop til I'm better 🤣 if we have any setbacks I'll keep you all updated! ❤️

Hey guys! I've been hit by the spewy bug that's going around - I was due to have this week off anyways due to family holidays, but there certainly won't be any Cake Cubby or Sound deliveries this Friday

Biggest apologies, but you don't want it! I'm sure you'll survive without a tabnab for one week 😂

20/09/2026

Still some tabnabs left for a Sunday run!

🌟 Spiced Pear & Treacle cake with cream cheese icing
🌟 VG/GF Fresh Raspberry Brownies
🌟 Butterscotch Tart
🌟 Sourdough Malteaser Muffins

🔔 CUBBY MENU TIMEEEEE!! 🔔

I'm starting to bring in some more Autumn flavours - I've accepted my fate of having absolutely no summer, and quite frankly this is my favourite season entirely 🍂

The Cake Cubby will be stocked on Friday at 6.30pm with lots of bakes using decadent Belgian chocolate, warming spices and fresh produce 🥕 🍐

We can't wait to feed you all for another week!
