We had such an exciting day at nursery yesterday. A policeman came to visit us! 👮🏻‍♂️

He showed us his police car and all the clever equipment he uses to keep everyone safe when there are accidents. The best part of all was when he turned on the bright blue flashing lights 🚔 for us!

A huge thank you to all our wonderful parents for generously bringing in junk modelling supplies over the past few weeks!

Thanks to your fantastic donations of boxes 📦, tubes, and recycled materials ♻️ , our little builders 👷🏻‍♂️ have been hard at work bringing their imaginations to life.

We are thrilled to share some of our incredible new creations, including a brilliant postman’s van 📮, cute fluffy sheep 🐑, and even an impressive model of Big Ben 🕒.

We couldn't have done it without your support, thank you for helping fuel our creativity!

Our Outdoor Adventures 🌳

During our walk, the children loved exploring the world around us. We collected sticks, leaves, and pinecones, and used our sticks to make marks and drawings in the soil. As we explored, we talked about the vibrant colors of the leaves and played a fun game of chase around the trees.

What We Found 🍂
*Sticks
*Leaves
*Pinecones

What the Children Drew & Said:

"A red car" 🚗

"A dinosaur, Roar!!" 🦖

🍁🍂 Our autumnal adventures continues today with Explorers and Discoverers room going on a walk around the village. On their walk they stopped off at the church where they felt lots of different textured autumnal things like crunchy leaves, the rough bark on the trees, smooth acorns that had dropped from the oak tree and even the cold grass between their fingers. 🍁🍂

🍂 Autumn Discoveries in Full Swing! 🌰

Today, our Adventurers immersed themselves in autumn sensory play! Armed with toy hammers and tools, they had a blast cracking open conker shells and investigating the textures and colors of seasonal leaves.

This morning we all participated in drama tots. Today’s adventure was all about how amazing we are.

* We wore sweatbands and warmed up with physical activities to see how amazing our bodies are🏃🏻

* Used individual mirrors to practice pulling faces for different emotions (happy, sad, scared, angry, surprised)🪞

* Discussed why we feel these emotions, accepted that all feelings are okay, and learned ways to manage them

* Learned how sleep helps our bodies grow and allows our brains to process everything we learned during the day🧠

* Sang "Twinkle, Twinkle" with the matching actions ✨

Today our little ones are on the move and celebrating all things active! We believe that building healthy habits early on is the best way to help our children thrive, both physically and mentally.

Here is what we are getting up to:

🍃 Outdoor Walks: Stretching our legs, taking in the fresh air, and exploring nature.

⚽ Football Fun: Practising our kicks and teamwork!

⭕ Hula Hoop Heroes: Working on our balance and coordination.
