I have a serious LOVE of buttercream cakes 😍

Last weekend was a big test in terms of my process and the cake support system I use. Buttercream cakes are well known to melt and tilt in hot weather 🫣 I had two buttercream cakes this weekend, both were in very hot marquees with little air flow. 🙈 I spent a lot of time with my spirit level out leveling the table/barrel and then making sure the logs were completely level. This along with my stacking system and saying a prayer to the cake gods meant that both cakes didn't move and were perfect all afternoon and evening 🙌🙌
